Making The Mask
Fold a large piece of fabric in half and then fold again so that you can cut 2 masks at once
Cut out your desired template
You will now have 2 pieces of fabric
With an iron, press in edges of fabric 1/2"on all 4 sides
Fold the fabric in half and pin the top and bottom edges
Stitch across the top and bottom
Measure and mark from the top 2", 4", 6" for an adult mask or 2", 3.5", 5" for a child mask.
Starting from the top, fold and iron across the 2" line and fold that line up 1/2". Repeat for the next two pleats.
Inserting the elastic just below the top stitch and above the bottom stitch, Sew down the sides of your mask. Don't foget to backstitch so the elastic stays in.
